11 years of Fantastic

Please excuse me while I gush a bit. No, it isn't our anniversary exactly, but it was 11 years ago last week (ish) that we first met and not so very long after that that we started dating and started this fun journey together. If you read any of my blogs or follow me on facebook you know I like to talk about my honey. It just can't be helped sometimes.

This photo was taken during a trip to San Francisco over the holidays. Being the amazingly interesting people we are, we stopped in at the Union Square Borders and killed a few hours looking at magazines. Their selection is much more interesting than can be found in Sacramento, as the picture proves. I couldn't resist taking a picture.

And this one is funny because we were in Carmel with the family watching the sunset at Carmel Beach (with every other touist in town). I asked Aaron's brother to take the cliche susnet picture of us. I know, I should know better. We really are way too cool for that. Aaron made a cheezy pose for the cheezy picture which will forever remind me not to set up dorky pictures of us....On the beach at sunset anyway.

Anyway, three cheers for my fantastic man! Hip hip hooray!

(Hey I said I wouldn't be a dork on a beach with a camera. I never said anything about my blog.)

  1. Good afternoon. Thanks for stopping by my blog for a visit. I always feel like I am on a treasure hunt when I go into a thrift store, you just never know what you will find. I saw your earlier post about breaking of the dishes and it reminded me of my use of broken plates stuck in the ground of my garden so that the broken part doesn't show. I used them as Garden art, yes my husband just rolls his eyes and shakes his head.
