Actually, TWO, but we like your spunk, kid! We celebrated Charlotte’s 2nd Birthday a few weeks ago and I have been waiting on pins and needles to resolve my crazy blogging issue so I could share it with you.
We had a Teddy Bear Picnic for her. It was such a simple party and pretty darn cute if I do say so myself. All my best ideas come in the wee hours before an event and this was no exception. I began sewing a little top for her to wear from a vintage pattern I’ve had sitting around since…well…Lily was younger than she is now. I am just lucky she didn’t out grow the pattern (which is a size 2) before I could finally use it!
We did the party at a local park and just brought chalk as party favors, brownies in lieu of cake and some trail mix. Voila! Instant party!
For those of you who have been around since last year (you HAVE been paying attention, riiiight??) note the reuse of her birthday banner from last year’s festivities. Sadly, it’s didn’t survive this year’s party so we’ll have to make a new one. It was last year’s last minute “brilliant idea”.
This cracked us up to no end. When she wanted some snack she would casually walk up to someone and just hold up her hand, but still be doing whatever she was doing! Too funny!! Oh Tyler.
We won’t be using this for the Christmas card. But, as the sign behind us says we’re happy!
That is TOTALLY a Christmas card!!! LOVE IT! Beautiful family but I'm really upset that the kids are growing so fast. Please tell them to stop!! My Charlotte gets cuter every time I see her and the party is no exception!!!
